Victoria Beckham slapped by major legal woes amid Nicola Peltz rift

Victoria Beckham has recently suffered a legal blow in Norway amid an ongoing family rift with her eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, and his wife, Nicola Peltz.

On Friday, October 24, the 51-year-old fashion designer and former singer lost a trademark battle against Norwegian supermodel Vendela Kirsebom’s beauty brand after officials ruled that Victoria’s fashion and beauty company lacked sufficient recognition in the country.

The former Spice Girls star’s legal team argued that Vandela Beauty’s “VB” logo was way too similar to her own and could potentially mislead consumers.

According to the Daily Mail, the mother of four also presented figures, magazine features, and Instagram follower counts to demonstrate her presence in Norway.

However, the panel found that Victoria’s team failed to prove the extent of her Norwegian fan base, noting that the provided sales numbers applied to the entire Nordic region rather than Norway specifically.

The registration board stated that, despite Victoria’s international fame, it did “not mean that her initials or the combined mark can be considered well-known for this reason alone.”

This setback comes amid Victoria Beckham’s family feud with Brooklyn Beckham, who has reportedly been estranged with the Beckham clan since he and Nicola Peltz were notably absent from David Beckham's milestone 50th birthday celebration in May.
