Adam Brody recently came forward and revealed that Seth Rogen didn’t stick to the script during his cameo in Nobody Wants This season 2, released on October 23, 2025.

Playing the role of a progressive rabbi who invites Adam’s character, Noah, to join his modern and forward thinking congregation, the 43-year-old Canadian actor and comedian lit up the set with his infectious energy.

In a candid chat with People, the 45-year-old actor reflected on his time with Seth on the set of the recent installment of Netflix’s romance comedy series and revealed that he "went way off-script."

"He just let it rip," he playfully said. "He and Kate Berlant, who I'm also a huge fan of, just went way off-script, and I just got to buckle up and hang on, and yeah, that was a dynamic."

Starring alongside The Studio actor, Kate took on the role of Cami, the quickwitted counterpart to Rabbi Neil at Ahava.

Their comedic chemistry was undeniable as their energies aligned effortlessly, something the Gilmore Girls alum was delighted to witness.

"Fortunately, that was the dynamic on the page too, in those scenes, Noah's more of a bystander," Adam shared.

He went on to praise Seth, calling him "very funny and talented," and went on to state what made him the perfect person to play the opposing Rabbi figure.

"He's incredibly gregarious, and he's identifiably Jewish, which is important," he remarked.

Adding, "He'd be great to have in any way, shape or form."
