Did Queen Camilla monumentally ‘snub’ Sarah Ferguson amid royal fallout?
Queen Camilla wages quiet battle against Sarah Ferguson
As the fallout from Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s scandals continues to unravel, reports have emerged that the former Duchess of York received a “monumental snub” from an unlikely member of the Firm — Queen Camilla.
The Daily Mail claimed that Sarah had approached the Queen for a hopeful collaboration on her upcoming children’s book, Flora & Fern: Kindness Along The Way. The royal, who was recently stripped of her titles, reportedly wanted to promote the book through The Queen’s Reading Room.
“Before being sacked as a Duchess, Sarah Ferguson suffered a monumental snub from Queen Camilla,” the Mail reported. The allegation was credibly considered following the observation that none of the royal author’s works have ever featured on the Queen’s literary recommendations list since the Reading Room was founded in 2021.
“With the imminent release of her latest, ‘Flora & Fern: Kindness Along The Way’, Fergie suggested a collaboration between her and Queen Camilla. Her proposal was firmly rebuffed,” the claim further suggested.
However, Sarah’s team categorically denied the existence of her proposal to Camilla as well as her subsequent rejection as a consequence.
The Mirror reported that “a spokesperson representing Ferguson” spoke exclusively to the publication and “denied any claims of a snub from Camilla” and “a proposed collaboration.”
Meanwhile, Sarah Ferguson’s future in the royal family seems to be hanging by a thread, as her and Prince Andrew are expected to vacate the Royal Lodge soon and will likely never be seen as part of any family gatherings again.
