The shocking reason behind Kim's brain aneurysm might suprise you

Kim Kardashian revealed she was recently diagnosed with a small brain aneurysm during a routine MRI scan. But how was she diagnosed with a brain aneurysm despite leading a healthy lifestyle?

The All's Fair actress revealed this during a teaser for the upcoming seventh season of The Kardashians, where the 45-year-old reality star opened up about the discovery and its possible link to stress.

The main cause

In the clip, Kardashian explained that doctors informed her about the aneurysm, suggesting that stress might have been a contributing factor.

The SKIMS founder described her ongoing emotional situation, particularly after her high-profile divorce from ex-husband Kanye West, saying, “People think that I have the luxury of walking away. My ex will be in my life no matter what. We have four kids together.”

And after this tragedy, Kim’s life is not the same as it was. Divorce led her to develop emotional stress, which is one of the leading causes of cardiac and neurological issues, as per the Mayo Clinic

What is a brain aneurysm?

According to medical experts, a brain aneurysm, also known as a cerebral aneurysm, is a bulge in a weakened artery wall in or around the brain. Most aneurysms are small and harmless, but if one ruptures, it can lead to life-threatening bleeding or a hemorrhagic stroke.

The Cleveland Clinic notes that symptoms of a ruptured aneurysm include a sudden, severe “thunderclap” headache, nausea, neck stiffness, and vision problems. Immediate medical care is crucial, as about half of all ruptured aneurysms can be fatal.

Early detection and medical insights

While Kardashian did not confirm whether her aneurysm caused any symptoms, her case appears to have been detected early a fortunate outcome. Full-body MRI scans, like the one she underwent, can sometimes identify such issues incidentally.

Risk factors and the role of stress

Experts described the main factors, such as high blood pressure, smoking, excessive alcohol use, and genetic conditions increase the risk of developing aneurysms.

Balancing health, career, and ambition

Beyond her health revelation, Kim continues balancing multiple ventures from her SKIMS empire to her law studies under California’s Law Office Study Program.

A reminder for everyone

Kim’s story teaches us how important it is to manage our stress, and medical evaluation also plays a key role in ruling out silent conditions before they become fatal.
