King Charles heckled over Prince Andrew during Cathedral visit
King Charles visited Lichfield Cathedral on October 27
King Charles was confronted by an angry protester demanding answers about Prince Andrew during a royal engagement in the West Midlands, The Mirror reports.
The 76-year-old monarch visited Lichfield Cathedral on October 27, for a ceremonial service and to meet with community volunteers.
During a public walkabout outside the cathedral, one demonstrator shouted, “How long have you known about Andrew and Epstein?” as the King passed by.
The confrontation came amid growing speculation that Prince Andrew may be asked to move out of Royal Lodge, his 30-room Windsor estate.
According to The Mirror, Buckingham Palace is in discussions with Andrew about his future living arrangements as King Charles continues to encourage him to vacate the property.
Despite the tense moment, crowds of supporters quickly drowned out the protester with cheers of “God Save the King.”
Thousands had gathered outside the cathedral, including visitors from the U.S. and Italy, eager to catch a glimpse of the monarch.
