Adam Brody reveals unforgettable moment he realised 'Nobody Wants This' was a success
'Nobody Wants This' season 2 released on October 23, 2025.
Adam Brody says there was an unforgettable moment when he realised the Netflix series Nobody Wants This had truly won the hearts of audiences.
Talking to People, at the October 16 premiere of season 2 in Los Angeles, the 45-year-old star, who took on the role of the beloved "beloved "hot rabbi" Noah, opened up about the moment he "knew" the series, which first hit the screens in 2024, had truly taken off.
"I was in Scotland. My wife was working," he shared, referring to his partner Leighton Meester, who also appeared on the second installment of the hit series.
"Pretty quickly after the show came out, it's like a month after, and we were walking by and some high school field hockey girls were like, 'We love the show. You're from the show. We love the show,'" he recalled.
"And then we went to a pub and sat down, and some 70-something Scottish guys in the pub were like, 'Love the show,'" the Gilmore Girls alum stated.
"And I was like, this is crossing generations."
Although he was reluctant to choose a "favorite fan reaction," Adam admitted that the response in Scotland was "how I knew, like, 'Oh, wow, this is connecting with a wide swath of people.'"
It is pertinent to note that the second season of Nobody Wants This released on October 23, 2025.
