Katy Perry, Justin Trudeau's relationship getting already 'serious'?

There’s nothing uncertain about Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau’s relationship anymore as reports confirm that their romance is already getting quite serious.

Days after the pop star, 41, and the former Canadian prime minister were spotted holding hands in Paris, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that the two are officially dating.

“This relationship is already fairly serious and definitely moving in that direction,” a Canadian political source shared, adding, “They are very much a couple and have been seeing each other as often as possible.”

Their romance reportedly began during Perry’s Lifetimes World Tour, with Trudeau making “a real effort to meet her where she is — literally,” according to another insider. 

The source added that Perry has been “flattered” by his gestures and is “in a great place.”

In recent months, the pair were seen dining in Montreal, sharing a kiss on a yacht near Santa Barbara, and celebrating Perry’s birthday in Paris on October, 25.

“Katy didn’t expect to fall for somebody so soon, but Justin checks all the boxes,” a second source said, adding, “He’s charming, respectful, and has a great sense of humor.”

Perry’s new romance follows her June split from ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom, while Trudeau separated from his wife Sophie Grégoire in 2023.
