Halle Bailey, DDG reach custody deal for their son: End to legal battle?
Halle Bailey and DDG call truce custody deal marks shocking turn in their legal saga
Halle Bailey and DDG have come to a mutual understanding regarding the custody of their 22 month old son.
According to documents obtained by PEOPLE magazine, the former couple agreed to a temporary custody arrangement granting DDG custody on Wednesdays and select weekends.
Their son will reside primarily with The Little Mermaid star, while the pair also established a shared holiday schedule.
Both Halle and DDG have officially dropped their restraining orders against each other. In May, Bailey was granted a temporary restraining order after alleging physical and verbal abuse.
A month later, DDG filed his own request, claiming that Halle posed an “imminent emotional and psychological risk to the minor child based on repeated, documented threats of self-harm.”
Court documents filed on Monday in the Superior Court of Los Angeles and reported by TMZ note that “the parties each reserve her/his rights to resurrect any and all DV allegations,” and that the dismissal “may not be used as evidence against the party(s) seeking new orders.”
The filing also states that both have agreed not to publicly disparage one another, emphasizing their focus on co-parenting peacefully.
