Taylor Swift takes THIS major step to tackle her long-standing insecurity
Taylor Swift addresses her biggest insecurity with help from choreographer
Taylor Swift has taken impressive steps to overcome one of her long-standing insecurities.
The 35-year-old pop sensation has often faced severe backlash and trolling for her dancing, which led her to hire expert choreographer Mandy Moore to help her refine this skill.
Moore recently spoke to The New York Times, where she shared insights into what Swift experienced behind the scenes.
“Taylor had gotten a bad rap for a long time about her dancing, so she was really in over her head,” the choreographer said.
Moore revealed that they “shifted the focus to how movement was already manifesting in her body — the way she naturally wanted to move”.
She continued, “We fine-tuned that: ‘OK, that looks a little weird with your shoulders,’ or, ‘Let's straighten your knee here.’”
Elsewhere in the interview, the 49-year-old expert gushed over Swift’s incredible dedication and determination.
“She works so hard. Whatever I was putting down, she was picking up,” Moore added.
She further shared that the 14-time Grammy winner is “very clear about what she wants, which I love. I find I can't create unless I have some parameters”.
“The ‘do whatever you want’ thing, for me, it just feels like chaos,” Moore stated.
Meanwhile, Swift is set to release a docuseries about her Eras Tour on December 12, 2025, which will premiere on Disney+.
On the same day, fans will also be treated to a new concert movie, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show.
