Liam Payne’s girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, was involved in a horrific car crash, sparking concern among the late singer’s fans.

The 26-year-old influencer revealed that she had allowed a friend drive her brand-new blue Lamborghini Urus, worth over £200,000, when the incident occurred.

On Wednesday, October 29, Cassidy took to Instagram to share a before-and-after clip of the accident.

"Lesson learned don't let your girlfriend drive your brand-new car,” the caption read.

As a result of the crash, Cassidy’s luxury vehicle was left with a large hole above the wheel.

Fortunately, she confirmed that no one was injured in the incident. Hours later, Cassidy shared her car crash police report on her Instagram Stories.

The report number ended with 4444, which she appeared to link emotionally to Payne.

For the unversed, the angel number 4444 is often associated with positive transformation and guidance from guardian angels, according to HowStuffWorks.

The accident occurred nearly two weeks after Cassidy marked the one-year anniversary of One Direction bandmate's tragic death.

It is worth noting that Liam Payne breathed his last on October 16 last year after falling off a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, at the young age of 31.
