The 'Star Trek' actor’s alarming health speculations finally addressed
A bombshell truth about William Shatner's health has finally been addressed.
According to Radar Online, the 94-year-old actor’s agent shared that the actor experienced an issue with his blood sugar while at his home in Los Angeles.
Moreover, the Star Trek actor was also checked out by medical personnel.
The update comes a month after the reports of Shatner being hospitalised, which was denied by the actor himself.
The Canadian native took to social media and turned down the rumours about his health, writing, "I overindulged. I thank you all for caring but I'm perfectly fine," Shatner wrote in an Instagram caption. "I keep telling you all: Don't trust tabloids or AI!"
The The UnXplained performer went on to say, "Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated!"
The Miss Congeniality actor also poked fun at the social media claims by posting an image of himself looking like Mark Twain, adding, “The report of my death was an exaggeration.”
Despite several reports, William Shatner has claimed he was not hospitalised.
However, the veteran actor has had a history of health woes, including a 2008 hip replacement surgery that nearly killed him, a 2024 skin cancer diagnosis, and a prostate cancer scare in 2016.
