Eric Kripke shares exciting update on 'The Boys' season 5
Eric Kripke expresses his gratitude to fans for their continued support.
Although fans are disheartened that the beloved superhero show The Boys is coming to an end soon with its fifth season, series creator Eric Kripke has shared an exciting update.
The science fiction/Action Amazon Prime Video series last hit the screens on July 18, 2024, leaving hundreds of fans eager to see how the story wraps up.
Now, taking to Instagram, the 51-year-old writer has hinted at when the final installment will premiere.
"We’re hard at work finishing @theboystv Final Season," he penned in the caption of a post.
Continuing, "Here’s me and some of the VFX team today. Editing is all done, we’re roughly halfway finished with VFX, Music, Color.”
"I'm really happy with how it's going and can't wait for you to see. We go out with a bang. COMING (reasonably) SOON," he added.
In the same post he thanked fans for watching another show of his, Gen V, saying, "First, thank you for watching & loving @genv (and if you haven't watched yet, what the holy motherfucking fuck are you waiting for? Quit doom scrolling and watch!)"
Fans rushed to the comment section to express their excitement.
"Waiting for S5 and Soldier Boy," a user penned.
"and where’s the green light for gen v season 3?” another wrote.
A third stated, "Gen V was awesome again! Can’t wait for S5 of The Boys!"
