King Charles’s bold move against Prince Andrew brings relief to Virginia Giuffre’s family
Virginia Giuffre’s family reacts after King Charles removes Prince Andrew’s royal titles

King Charles’s latest decision has sparked a sense of relief for Virginia Giuffre– one of Prince Andrew’s late accusers who died at age 41 earlier this year.
In a statement announced by Buckingham Palace on Thursday, October 30, the 76-year-old monarch initiated a formal process to remove the titles and honours of his disgraced brother.
"Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor,” the statement read.
Shortly after the Palace’s sudden and unexpected announcement, the family of Virginia stepped in to release an explosive statement celebrating Andrew’s downfall.
"Today, an ordinary American girl from an ordinary American family, brought down a British prince with her truth and extraordinary courage,” said Virginia’s brother, Skye Roberts, and sister-in-law, Amanda.
They continued, "Virginia Roberts Giuffre, our sister, a child when she was sexually assaulted by Andrew, never stopped fighting for accountability for what had happened to her and to countless other survivors like her.”
"Today, she declares victory. We, her family, along with her survivor sisters, continue Virginia's battle and will not rest until the same accountability applies to all of the abusers and abettors connected to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell,” the couple added.
It is important to mention that Virginia reiterated in her posthumous memoir Nobody’s Girl, released on October 21, that Prince Andrew had sexual encounters with her on three occasions in the early 2000s, when she was under 18.
However, the former Duke of York has persistently and strongly denied these allegations.
