Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie untouched as King Charles strips Andrew of titles
Why Beatrice and Eugenie keep their titles as Prince Andrew loses his

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have held on to their royal titles despite their father, Prince Andrew, being stripped of his own, royal expert Tom Bower has revealed.
According to Bower, the decision reflects the princesses’ “clean public record” and their “ongoing commitment to charitable and public duties.”
Speaking to GB News, he emphasised that both women are “widely regarded as decent and well-intentioned,” adding, “they shouldn’t be humiliated.”
Explaining the reasoning behind the distinction, Bower said, “The daughters of the son of a sovereign, that’s HRH Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, retain their titles because of the George V letters patent of 1917.”
He further noted, “In the end, it boils down to this: why should the daughters suffer for the sins of the father?”
Bower stressed that King Charles’s move to strip Prince Andrew of his titles was “a matter of confronting him with reality” after years of damaging headlines linked to the Duke’s association with Jeffrey Epstein.
“We understand this was initiated by the King and his brother didn’t object. That’s a polite way of saying he had no choice,” Bower added.
