NASA isn’t letting Kim Kardashian’s latest theory fly under the radar.

On Thursday’s episode of The Kardashians, the 45-year-old reality star and business mogul claimed that astronaut Buzz Aldrin’s 1969 trip to the moon was staged.

While chatting with her All’s Fair co-star Sarah Paulson, Kim said she read an interview where Aldrin “gotten old and now he like, slurs,” adding, “So, I think it didn’t happen.”

After the episode aired, NASA’s acting administrator Sean Duffy reacted to the remarks on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “Yes, @KimKardashian, we’ve been to the Moon before… six times!”

He went on to mention NASA’s upcoming Artemis mission, saying the agency is “going back under the leadership” of President Donald Trump. “We won the last space race and we will win this one too,” Duffy added.
