Tim Cook’s bold claim about Apple Intelligence has everyone stunned

Apple CEO Tim Cook has made a bold revelation, announcing the company’s plans to integrate more third-party AI tools into its ecosystem as part of its growing Apple Intelligence platform.

In an interview with CNBC, Cook said, “Our intention is to integrate with more people over time,” hinting that Apple isn’t limiting itself to ChatGPT.

However, this is not the first time Apple has integrated third-party apps, as the Cupertino giant already added ChatGPT to Siri, with reports suggesting that Google’s Gemini could be next.

Moreover, there are swirling rumours about potential collaborations with Anthropic and Perplexity AI.

Notably, Cook’s statement aligns with Apple software chief Craig Federighi’s earlier comment that the company may expand support to “different models like Google Gemini” in the future.

Cook further revealed that an AI-upgraded Siri is in development and expected to debut next year.

“We are open to pursuing M&A if we think it will advance our roadmap,” he noted.

On the sidelines, Apple and Google may team up to power a new AI search experience for Siri, a collaboration that could redefine the next generation of smartphones.
