What awaits Steve Harrington in the final season of 'Stranger Things'?

With the release of the new trailer for Stranger Things’ final season, fans are left wondering about Steve Harrington’s (Joe Keery) fate.

Fans got their first look at the explosive fifth and final season on October 30th, which offered a thrilling glimpse at the terrifying battle ahead, with the group uniting once again to take on Vecna once and for all.

Yet, despite the action packed and emotional trailer, some were distracted by the limited presence of Steve, with only a few brief shots.

Fans quickly rushed to the YouTube’s comment section to share their theories and address Joe Keery’s character’s limited screen-time.

"Don't you dare touch my Steve like you did with our rock star last season," a user firmly stated, referring to the unfortunate death of Joseph Quinn’s character Eddie Munson.

Worrying about their favourite character’s future on the science fiction/horror series, another user expressed, "The lack of Steve in this trailer concerns me."

"Bro dustin hugging steve, nancy with blood on her hands and i think dustin driving steves car. is not looking good for my boy," a third remarked. 

The hit Netflix series is set to release in three parts, with the first four episodes hitting audience's screens on November 26, followed by three episodes on Christmas, and the finale episode on New Year's Eve.
