Sydney Sweeney found herself under fire once again after opening up about being misunderstood, all while donning a very revealing outfit that made waves online.

At Variety’s Power Of Women event in Beverly Hills, on October 29, the 28-year-old actress opened up about feeling “underestimated" and judged before having the chance to define herself.

Dressing in a shimmering, sheer and figure hugging silver dress by Christian Cowan, the Euphoria actress, remarked, "I know what it feels like to have to prove that you deserve to be here, to be seen, to be taken seriously."

Her outfit sparked intense debate online, with many social media users weighing in on Sydney’s outfit choice.

Under Variety’s post many users commented on The White Lotus actress’ clothing, with one saying, "She’s literally at the Power of Women podium talking about being underestimated while wearing a dress that puts her body on display more than her message."

"The Power of Women and she wears that dress? Nope," another stated.
