Laura Bailey brings characters to life with supreme versatility and talent
Laura Bailey, the voice of Invisigal in the new superhero game "Dispatch" is a well-known name in the gaming and animation world.
With over two decades of experience as she has voiced hundreds of characters across video games, movies and TV shows.
Her recent work includes voicing Black Widow in "Marvel Rivals" and the Symbiote-infested Mary Jane in "Marvel’s Spider-Man 2".
Laura is an American voice actor of partial Filipino descent. Because her father served in the Air Force, her family often moved from one city to another.
Her career began in college when Dragon Ball voice actor Kent Williams discovered her talent and offered her the role of Kid Trunks in Dragon Ball Z’s Funimation dub.
However, that opportunity launched her journey in the anime world.
Fans may also recognise her as the voice of Shin-Chan from the popular anime series and her success in animation opened the door to the Marvel Universe where she brought Black Widow to life in shows like Avengers Assemble and Ultimate Spider-Man.
The 44-year-old’s first video game role was Rayne in "BloodRayne" (2002) since then she has voiced memorable characters such as Abby in The Last of Us Part II and Chun-Li in "Street Fighter IV".
Now, as Invisigal in "Dispatch", Laura Bailey continues to prove her incredible range and versatility solidifying her place as one of the most talented voice actors in the industry.
