What happens next to Queen Elizabeth’s corgis at Royal Lodge? Truth revealed
Buckingham Palace reveals the fate of corgis who currently reside in Royal Lodge
Buckingham Palace has confirmed the fate of late Queen Elizabeth II’s corgis who currently reside in Royal Lodge.
It was officially announced on Thursday, October 30, that Andrew Mountbatten Windsor will be stripped of his Royal titles, honours and styles as well as vacate the Windsor property.
The corgis, Muick and Sandy, have been looked after by Andrew and Sarah at Royal Lodge, but with Andrew being evicted, there’s rising speculation about their next home.
According to the Palace, the adorable corgis are not going anywhere, they will continue to be cared for by the family.
What remains unclear is which family member will be stepping up to take on their responsibility.
Andrew, Ms Ferguson, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice are all options to give a loving home to the two dogs.
Back in 2021, the 65-year-old ex-royal gave Muick to his mother as emotional support during Prince Philip’s hospital stay.
The Queen received Muick as a puppy, named after Loch Muick at Balmoral, together with a second corgi, Fergus.
However, Fergus passed away three months later and Sandy was brought in to replace him with the help of Queen’s granddaughter, Beatrice.
