Justin Trudeau shocks fans with unexpected nod to Katy Perry on Halloween?

Justin Trudeau has sparked fresh rumors about Katy Perry romance after reportedly dropping a spooky Halloween nod towards her that fans couldn't ignore.

On Thursday night, Trudeau shared photos of his Halloween costume featuring a father-son duo concept with his youngest son, Hadrien.

The 53-year-old former Canadian prime minister kept things interesting this spooky season by choosing a shark as his costume.

Many believe this to be a clear nod to Katy Perry’s iconic 2015 Super Bowl performance, where her backup dancer ‘Left Shark’ stole the show.

“Ready for Halloween with Hadrien: he’s the surfer, I’m the shark (to his left),” Trudeau captioned his Instagram post, adding that the pair “built the costume together, a little father-son Halloween teamwork.”

While Trudeau didn’t directly mention Katy Perry, fans were quick to notice the reference.

"We all recognize that shark costume," an admirer wrote in the comments of the post.

"And what is Katy going to be?" another fan inquired. 

Justin seemingly replicated the shark costume of backup dancers from Katy's Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show in 2015, as the backup dancers wore similar shark costumes.

It seems like Justin is reportedly referencing Perry’s viral Left Shark moment from her 2015 Super Bowl halftime show.
