Pete Davidson reveals future tech invention he wants created next
Pete Davidson shares his thoughts on one tech invention he’s still waiting for
Pete Davidson is imagining what tech in the future could look like.
During his conversation with People, on November 1, the 31-year-old actor and comedian opened up about the inventions he’s most excited to see, and one he hopes never makes it off the ground.
“I’m still waiting for the hoverboard,” Davidson said, referring to the futuristic gadget made famous by Back to the Future.
“We got close. Remember those boards they had, but then they just started exploding?” he said, talking about the self-balancing devices that later had major technical issues.
While he’s still holding out hope for a real hoverboard, there’s one once-dreamed-of invention he’s officially written off: flying cars.
“When I was a kid, they sounded really cool, but now that I actually drive, that would be a f****** nightmare,” The Saturday Night Live alum joked. “So I hope nobody ever creates flying cars.”
While the tech he dreams of aren't hitting the market anytime soon, he can enjoy Amazon's latest improvement to Alexa, its cloud-based voice assistant for now.
Alexa+, Amazon’s generative AI upgrade that’s more conversational, personalized, and proactive, comes free with Prime, and is described as “nice” and “reliable,” by Pete Davidson.
