Sarah Ferguson’s support for Andrew to reportedly 'cost her'?

Sarah Ferguson’s unwavering support for Andrew may be fueling her royal downfall, as per her close friend.

After revelations of her 2011 email to Jeffrey Epstein, the 66-year-old British author has noticeably stepped back from public view.

She addressed Jeffrey as her “supreme friend” in email, apologising for her past comments, a move her team stated was driven by a fear of a defamation lawsuit.

Due to the controversy, Sarah’s public image along with her reputation has suffered, and according to her pal, her stubbornness to stand by the former Duke of York is only dragging her down further.

Her connection to Andrew seems to be especially damaging, given his long-running controversies involving Jeffrey and the accusation he continues to deny.

Even if Sarah has finally stepped back from Andrew, her long-term loyalty still comes with consequences and has deeply “cost her", the friend remarked, especially now that he has lost both his titles and Royal Lodge.

"I’m afraid Sarah's biggest mistake was her loyalty to Andrew, because that mud has stuck on her," he pal Lizzie Cundy opened up to Channel 5’s show Vanessa on Friday.

“Sadly because of her lack of judgement and her underlying loyalty to Andrew, it's really cost her. She can’t be linked with Andrew unfortunately.”

Just like Andrew, Sarah has also lost he royal title and no longer carries the title 'Duchess of York.'
