LACMA Art + Film Gala brings Tinseltown’s most glamorous and gifted to the city of stars

Hollywood’s finest flocked to the LACMA Art + Film Gala at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in California, November 1.

Observed annually, the event is typically held on each November’s first Saturday. Vogue described the festivities as “a way to raise money for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s film program — as well as educational initiatives, acquisitions, and exhibitions”, while it was founded by LACMA trustee Eva Chow, who co-chairs the gala with Leonardo DiCaprio each year.

The outlet further shared that while this year’s event honoured Sinners filmmaker Ryan Coogler and artist Mary Corse, the fashion at LACMA’s celebration “is not as high-pressure” and that “stars tend to take more risks and have more fun on the carpet.”
