Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have seemingly become targets of a subtle dig from the NFL star’s ex, Kayla Nicole, following her cryptic post about the couple.

On Friday, October 31, the 33-year-old sportscaster flaunted her dazzling Halloween look, leaving fans to believe that it was a brutal swipe at Swift and Kelce.

For the spooky holiday, Nicole channelled Toni Braxton's iconic look from the He Wasn’t Man Enough music video, posting a clip of herself dancing to the song, accompanied with a series of stylish images.

The lyrics of the song go, "Listen, girl / Who do you think I am? / Don't you know that he was my man? / But I chose to let him go / So why do you act like I still care about him?"

Shortly after the shady post, netizens flooded the comments section, with model Tatiana Elizabeth writing, "Will the real showgirl step to the front," referring to Swift's latest album, The Life of a Showgirl.

Another fan wrote, "The shade is real," while a third user noted, "This was a very SAVAGE move"

Notably, Braxton also joined in and commented, "You killed it mama.”

The post comes amid growing rumours that Swift's song Opalite from her recent album is a dig at her fiancé's ex.

It is worth noting that before Kelce’s romance with the 14-time Grammy winner, he dated Nicole for five years in an on-again, off-again relationship that lasted from 2017 until their final breakup in May 2022.

The Kansas City tight end began dating Swift in the summer of 2023.
