Sarah Paulson’s fiery scene with Kim Kardashian takes a hilarious turn

Sarah Paulson recalls a hilarious on-set incident while filming All’s Fair, where an intense scene with Kim Kardashian took an unexpected turn.

During a recent interview with PEOPLE, Sarah Paulson revealed that she accidentally spat a potato chip into Kim Kardashian’s eye while shooting a heated scene for their upcoming Hulu legal drama.

“I had to say some really scandalous things in Kim’s face,” Paulson recalled. “I was screaming at her, and suddenly—‘bing!’—I saw it go right in her eye.”

The Ratched actress and SKIMS founder are fierce rivals in a Ryan Murphy-produced drama, All's Fair, centered around a group of high-profile female divorce attorneys in Los Angeles.

Despite the on-screen tension, their co-stars Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, and Teyana Taylor say the pair often couldn’t keep straight faces during filming.

“Sarah and Kim sometimes couldn’t look at each other without laughing,” Close shared, while Nash-Betts joked that once the laughter started, “we knew it was going to be at least 30 minutes before we could start again.”

Paulson, a longtime Ryan Murphy favorite, said playing the villain was a refreshing change.

“I had the best time. I love working in a high-stakes environment,” she added.

Set in L.A., All’s Fair follows a powerhouse team of women who leave a male-dominated law firm to start their own practice, balancing complex clients, secrets, and sisterhood along the way.

The series starring Kim Kardashian, Sarah Paulson, Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, and Teyana Taylor premieres November 4 on Hulu.
