Kate Winslet joins The King’s Foundation on upcoming documentary: Inside King Charles’ new project

Kate Winslet has been unveiled as the narrator for an upcoming collaborative project between The King’s Foundation and Amazon Prime Video — Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision.

Described as a “landmark film documenting His Majesty King Charles III’s Harmony philosophy and environmental journey”, Winslet’s participation in the documentary feature was announced in a joint post shared by the Instagram accounts of the foundation, Prime Movies, and Amazon MGM Studios.

While the royal family’s page on the platform reposted the announcement on its story.

Project details and release date

The documentary was initially announced last month, while Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision was reported to be its working title.

Expected to focus on King Charles’ longtime efforts towards the cause of environmentalism, the feature length project will launch on Prime Video early 2026. It will be available to screen in more than 240 countries worldwide.

The King had previously shared in his statement, “This film will, I hope, demonstrate just some of the remarkable work being done around the world to put Harmony into practice, from the forests of Guyana to sustainable communities in India – and, closer to home, through the work of my King’s Foundation at Dumfries House and Highgrove.”

“Never has it been more important for the world to make a concerted effort to protect and prioritise our planet, and to restore our relationship with it. It is therefore my fondest hope that this film may encourage a new audience to learn about the philosophy of Harmony – and perhaps inspire the same sense of determination it has given me to help build a more sustainable future,” his statement, published by The King’s Foundation on their official website, further emphasised.

What is King Charles’ philosophy of Harmony?

The King’s Foundation describes its work as “underpinned by King Charles III’s philosophy of Harmony”. The concept was initially developed by the sovereign while he was still the Prince of Wales.

“‘Harmony’ is a universal expression for the order, connection and balance found in nature,” the foundation’s official website states. “The Harmony philosophy sees everything in nature as interconnected, including ourselves. This means taking a holistic approach to the challenges facing our planet, and looking to solve these challenges by working with nature, rather than against her.”

The philosophy is further detailed in Charles’ book, Harmony: A New Way of Looking at Our World, published in 2010.

Speaking about her latest royal collaboration, the Titanic star said, “It is both a pleasure and a privilege to be a part of this film, which is a fascinating insight into the King’s work as an environmentalist.”
