Prince William, Kate Middleton host thank-you party for new Windsor home
William and Kate relocated from Adelaide Cottage during the half-term break
The Prince and Princess of Wales marked their residence move with a heartfelt celebration.
According to the Daily Mail, Prince William and Kate Middleton recently threw a private thank-you party for builders and staff who helped complete renovations on their new home, Forest Lodge, located on the Windsor estate.
The couple reportedly hosted the casual gathering at The York Club serving drinks and light snacks to show their appreciation.
“The couple very sweetly just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has worked tirelessly to help,” a source told the outlet.
William and Kate, who share three children - Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis - relocated from Adelaide Cottage during the half-term break.
The move is said to represent a “fresh start” after what insiders describe as a challenging few years, marked by the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, the cancer diagnoses of both King Charles and the Princess, and public tensions with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The new mansion features eight bedrooms, six bathrooms, a long gallery, staff quarters, a pond, and a tennis court.
