Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour’s relationship faces new development
New update emerges on Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour’s off-screen relationship
Millie Bobby and David Harbour’s relationship has reportedly hit a new low, as a shocking new report suggests rising tension between the Stranger Things co-stars ahead of the show’s finale season.
According to the Daily Mail, the 21-year-old actress, who portrays Eleven in the hit Netflix series, allegedly filed a harassment and bullying complaint against Harbour, who plays her adoptive father, Jim Hopper.
The report further claims that Brown lodged the complaint prior to the start of production on season five, which wrapped filming in December 2024.
“She filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season," a source told the publication, adding that “there were pages and pages of accusations" and that the investigation “went on for months."
However, it is important to note that the allegations did not include claims of sexual misconduct.
Insiders also alleged the Florence by Mills founder had a representative present on set throughout the filming of the final season to ensure her comfort and safety.
Representatives for Netflix, Brown, and Harbour have yet to respond on the matter.
The duo’s on-screen dynamic as Eleven and Hopper remains one of Stranger Things’ most heartfelt relationships.
Over the years, both have spoken fondly of one other.
During a 2018 PaleyFest panel in Los Angeles, a then-14-year-old Brown reflected on their working relationship.
“We went through so many different emotions… we get angry at each other, we are like father and daughter," she said, according to Refinery29.
The Enola Holmes actress added, “We would express our feelings on and off the set, and… those scenes were so raw and real that the reward is the scenes."
Harbour also praised Brown in a 2021 appearance on the That Scene with Dan Patrick podcast, revealing that the two have “always had sort of a special relationship” because he had known her since she was very young.
Notably, Stranger Things season 5 is set to be premiered with Volume 1 on November 26, followed by Volume 2 on December 25, and the finale on December 31.
