Taylor Swift takes extra safety precautions amid growing security concerns
The ‘Lover’ singer heightens security measures as security concerns rise
Taylor Swift continues to take serious precautionary measures when it comes to protecting her privacy and security.
The 35-year-old pop sensation skipped her fiancé Travis Kelce’s clash with the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York, on November 2, and was later spotted at Morriston Airport in New Jersey.
Swift, dressed casually in a black top and grey sweatpants, was shielded by umbrellas as she exited her private plane before heading to the members-only DOGPOUND gym located near her $80M Tribeca compound in Manhattan.
Her appearance comes after The US Sun reported that she is "spending an extra $2M on security amid fears for her safety."
The Opalite songstress and her fiancé are now reportedly spending a total of "$8M on their security teams to ensure protection at NFL games and elsewhere."
Swift has not attended any away games this NFL season and is said to feel "100% safe and comfortable" at the Kansas City Chiefs' Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri.
Even inside Kelce’s home stadium, the 14-time Grammy winner maintained extra precautions, remaining behind a large screen on September 14 as a safety measure.
On September 22, Swift was granted a five-year restraining order against Colorado man Brian Jason Wagner, who allegedly showed up repeatedly at her Los Angeles home and claimed she had his baby.
"Taylor has wanted to feel much more protected this year with her security, especially with her current stalker issues," a source told Daily Mail last week.
The insider added, "She doesn't want her whereabouts known every minute of the day. She wants to be safe and she wants her family and friends to be safe."
Next up, the Kansas City Chiefs are scheduled to face the Denver Broncos at the Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado, on November 16, a game Swift is not expected to attend.
On the professional front, Taylor Swift released her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, on October 3, 2025.
