Denise Richards recreates iconic magazine look amid legal battle with estranged husband

You know you’re truly iconic when you can dress up as yourself for Halloween and Denise Richards proved just that.

The Wild Things actress paid tribute to her modelling era by recreating her look from her famous adult magazine shoot two decades ago.

Richards stunned in a black bodysuit paired with matching bunny ears, white cuffs and a bow tie collar.

The 54-year-old first posed for the magazine in December 2004, just months after welcoming her daughter.

“I didn’t have to show anything I didn’t want to,” she recalled in a past interview with Jay Leno, sharing that her then-husband Charlie Sheen supported her decision, adding, “He was really cool about it and helped me pick out the pictures.”

However, the actress’ post comes amid personal turmoil, as she recently returned to court seeking a permanent restraining order against her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers.

The star testified that Phypers became “very volatile” and physically abusive after she underwent multiple cosmetic procedures.

“The fact that he did that to me five hours after coming out of a seven-hour surgery … made me feel a lot of things. Scared and vulnerable. I couldn’t walk by myself,” Richards told the court.

The Two and a Half Men star alleged Aaron grabbed her arms, called her with disrespectful names and accused her of cheating as Aaron Phypers was arrested last month on spousal abuse charges and later released on bail after posting a $200,000 bond.

For the unversed, Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen, who share two daughters, Sami and Lola, were married from 2002 to 2006. She also has a third daughter, Eloise, whom she adopted.
