Meghan Markle offered lifeline after critics slam latest 'As Ever' project
Meghan Markle gets a new chance to rebuild her image after the backlash
Meghan Markle has faced backlash after launching her latest As Ever products, including a $64 candle and a $32 jar of jam.
Critics called the items “tone deaf” given the current economic climate. Adding to her challenges, Markle has reportedly lost her 10th publicist in five years.
Emily Robinson, who joined the Sussex team in June, left in October, just months later.
However, there may be hope for Markle’s brand image, as a new PR firm has publicly offered to represent her.
Ryan McCormick, Managing Partner at Goldman McCormick PR, told The Express US that his company would love to work with Meghan and help rebuild her image.
He said the firm would bring “the structure, strategy, and stability her brand urgently needs.”
“Meghan doesn’t need spin. She needs consistency,” McCormick said, adding, “We also think there needs to be more clarity about what her brand stands for.”
The PR firm believes former actress must connect more deeply with her audience and show “more authenticity” online.
McCormick added, “Meghan has visibility, but she needs to focus on trust. When the public sees constant turnover and mixed messaging, it signals instability.
People don’t want a perfectly staged version of Meghan; they want the real one. We would help her build that bridge back to credibility through honesty, humility, and purpose driven storytelling.”
Mark Goldman, Co-Founder of the firm, said, “Reputation repair takes patience and precision. Meghan's brand has global reach; what it lacks right now is coherence and calm.”
Goldman McCormick PR has offered to meet Meghan Markle’s team to discuss a new communications strategy.
