Prince Harry has reiterated his love for Britain in a strongly worded essay, titled The Bond, The Banter, The Bravery: What it means to be British – By Prince Harry, released to commemorate the upcoming Remembrance Day.

Amid his trip to Canada to mark the occasion, the Duke of Sussex has shared a resounding tribute to his home country, writing, “Though currently, I may live in the United States, Britain is, and always will be, the country I proudly served and fought for.”

Further underpinning typically noted features of British life, like “the mess, the clubhouse, the pub, the stands”, the 41-year-old royal declared, “I make no apology for it. I love it.”

Notably, Harry has previously dropped hints about making a potential return to Britain as of late, also having a meeting with his father, King Charles, earlier this year.

Judi James, body language and communications expert, explained the importance of the Duke’s latest writing in a conversation with The Mirror.

“‘Though currently, I may live in the United States,’ is the fascinating line, both for its wording and its use of punctuation,” she said. Further noting the use of “currently”, the expert claimed that the word “sounds negotiable, appearing to hint at a return to the UK.”

“It’s a word that leaves things open, like: ‘I’m currently single’ would imply a desire to get married or ‘I’m currently unemployed’ would suggest someone is searching for work,” added James.

For the record, during his recent appearance on Hasan Minhaj’s podcast, Prince Harry had shared that he has “no immediate plans” for returning to the UK. Meanwhile, he is set to undertake a couple of engagements related to Remembrance Day in Canada, as a former serving member of the British Armed Forces.
