King Charles has reportedly become ‘more emotional’ amid cancer battle
King was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer following a 'corrective procedure' in January 2024
King Charles has made significant lifestyle changes and become more emotionally open since his cancer diagnosis, according to a royal author.
In his new book The Windsor Legacy: A Royal Dynasty of Secrets, Scandal and Survival, Jobson writes that those close to the monarch have noticed a softer side emerging.
“His longer-serving staff have detected a change in their employer, whom they feel could occasionally seem rather cold. He’s now become more emotional,” he notes, as reported by the Express.
Charles is said to have adopted healthier habits and after being guided by his GP, Dr. Michael Dixon. Prince William also reportedly asked his father to “slow down and listen to his medical team.”
The 76-year-old was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer following a “corrective procedure” for benign prostate enlargement at the London Clinic in January 2024. Buckingham Palace confirmed at the time that the cancer was not prostate-related.
