Millie Bobby Brown calls adoption ‘a journey of love and learning’ with Jake Bongiovi
Brown believes it brought deep emotional growth for the couple
For Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi, becoming parents wasn’t just a milestone, it was a journey that reshaped how they see the world.
In a candid conversation with British Vogue, the Stranger Things star opened up about adopting a baby earlier this year, calling the experience “beautiful” and “amazing.”
Brown, who married Bongiovi in May 2024, said the process has brought deep emotional growth for both of them.
“She’s taught us so much already,” Brown shared. “Perspective is a huge thing. The smaller things in life are so much more precious now. Our days are filled with cuddles, laughter, and love. It’s endless joy.”
The couple, who announced their adoption in August, have embraced the journey as equal partners.
“We are 50-50 on everything,” Brown said. “Jake has been incredible — I’m so grateful to have partnered with him in this life.”
Having entered fame at just 10 years old, Brown is determined to give her daughter the childhood she never had.
“It’s really important to protect her and her story until she’s old enough to share it herself,” she explained.
