Jennifer Lawrence teams up with Emma Stone for ‘Miss Piggy’ movie
Lawrence also said the script is being written by comedian and writer Cole Escola

Jennifer Lawrence has revealed she’s working with longtime friend Emma Stone on a new Miss Piggy film.
Speaking on the Las Culturistas podcast with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang, the Hunger Games star shared that she and Stone are co-producing the movie centered on the beloved Muppets character. Lawrence also said the script is being written by comedian and writer Cole Escola.
“I don’t know if I can announce this, but I’m just gonna,” Lawrence said with a laugh. “Emma Stone and I are producing a Miss Piggy movie.”
She added that the two may even appear in the film together which would be a first for the longtime friends.
“It’s f***** up. It’s like really dark that we haven’t done a movie together,” she joked.
The character of Miss Piggy, created by Jim Henson, first appeared on The Muppet Show in 1976. She quickly became one of the franchise’s most iconic figures.
