Hilary Duff is opening up about her Disney Channel days, and how today's stars Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato, once came up to her during the height of their own Disney fame.

Appearing on the Therapuss podcast with Jake Shane, the Lizzie McGuire actress shared that both Gomez and Lovato approached her years ago when they were just starting out on the network.

“At some point, Selena and Demi both approached me at certain things, years and years ago,” Duff recalled.

"Then they were really lovely and really sweet and kind and telling me how much they love me and that kind of conversation. But I was never like, let me show you the way," The 38-year-old actress added.

Continuing, "Which, thank goodness because it's been so fun to watch all of them pave their way and watch the journey. It's been like insane. Like what a ride for all of all of the Disney people, you know?"

The A Cinderella Story star also laughed about her kids being unimpressed by her Disney fame, joking, “"Every night I put them to sleep and I'm like, 'Let me tell you about how big I was in Disney Channel. The network I was on, it was big kids.' No. They don't know and they don't care at all."

Duff who became a household name through Lizzie McGuire and its 2003 movie has recently returned to music with her new single, Mature, marking her first original release in a decade.
