‘Home and Away’ star Luke Jacobz welcomes new family member

Home and Away actor Luke Jacobz recently welcomed a new family member as he became a parent to another child.

The Australian native announced the arrival of his second child, a son, with wife Raychel.

The 44-year-old actor took to Instagram on Thursday, November 6, and shared the joyous news with his fans.

Jacobz also posted a series of heartfelt images that captured the newborn baby's first few hours.

Sharing the excited news, the The X Factor star penned an emotional note, writing, “On Monday, our little family of three, grew a little bigger and we are all so in love already. Welcome my baby boy John James Scott."

He also revealed his newborn baby’s name, saying, "We named him after my Dad, Raychel's Dad and uncle. Named after the men who helped shape both our lives so their legacy can live on."

The Home and Away star also paid tribute to his wife as he wrote,"Raychel, your bravery, love, true grit and determination to give our Maisie a best friend for life is nothing short of incredible.

"I saw such strength in you that I never thought possible, I love you with my heart and my soul and promise to teach our boy to be kind, caring, protective and loving.”

Jacobz went on to say, "Little Johnny, JJ... I am so proud to be your Dad, you and I will have the most wonderful adventure together, we are going to love and support your mum and sister, because I know they love you so much already."

The actor concluded his post, writing, "I love you Raychel, thank you for giving me the honour to be your babies' Dad."

For the unversed, Luke Jacobz and wife Raychel Stuart tied the knot in June 2023. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl, the same year in November.
