Blake Lively drops shocking damages claim in Justin Baldoni's smear campaign against her

Blake Lively recently dropped a shocking damage claim she suffered during a smear campaign orchestrated by her It Ends with Us costar, Justin Baldoni.

According to the US Weekly, Lively suffered $161 million in damages due to Baldoni’s alleged “smear campaign” against her.

In documents originally filed in July and obtained by the publication on Thursday, November 6, the 38-year-old actress’ legal team claim the potential financial losses include $56.2 million for past and future earnings attached to her acting and producing career and speaking engagements including endorsements.

The Gossip Girl alum also lost $49 million of potential earnings from her beauty brand, Blake Brown due to her image being damaged, as per the filing.

Moreover, her beverage brand Betty Buzz/Betty Booze has also suffered potential losses of $22 million.

According to the documents, Lively has suffered reputational damage of at least $34 million.

The Another Simple Favor actress filed her lawsuit against Baldoni, producer Jamey Heath, studio head Steve Sarowitz, and their publicists in December 2024.

In her lawsuit, she claimed that her 41-year-old costar created a hostile work environment through sexual harassment and boundary violations, and later a smear campaign against her.

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni will face off against each other in a trial scheduled for March 2026.
