‘Stranger Things 5’: Netflix unveils opening five minutes of thrilling new season
First four episodes of ‘Stranger Things 5’ are set to premiere on November 26
Stranger Things has kept fans on edge, eagerly awaiting the release of its highly anticipated final season.
On Thursday, November 6, Netflix sent viewers into a frenzy by unexpectedly dropping the first five minutes of Stranger Things Season 5, giving audiences an early glimpse of what’s to come.
The gripping teaser takes back down memory lane to 1983, to the night when everything began.
The opening scene revisits the harrowing moment when Will Byers, played by Noah Schnapp, disappears into the mysterious Upside Down, finally highlighting what happened after his abduction by the Demogorgon.
As the 12-year-old lies half-conscious in the eerie forest of the Upside Down, the terrifying clip shows him softly singing “Should I Stay or Should I Go” in his sleep.
Moments later, Will wakes up in fear as the Demogorgon’s growl echoes nearby.
In a desperate attempt to defend himself, Will fires at the creature and tries to escape, but the teaser ends before revealing his fate.
Shortly after the clip’s release, fans flooded the comments section, expressing their immense excitement.
“This about to be the saddest season ever.. BUT IM TOO EXCITED,” one user wrote.
Another stated, “That 5 minutes went by too quick, I need more! Lol Can’t wait!!!”
“The 5 minutes did not feel like 5 minutes omg..,” expressed a third.
“I fear will is not going to survive this season,” a fourth cried.
It is worth noting that the first four episodes of Stranger Things Season 5 will drop on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, followed by three episodes on Christmas Day and the finale on New Year’s Eve.
