The shocking truth behind Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour's friendly reunion at Stranger Things premiere has finally been revealed.

The duo met, smiled at each other and hugged at the show's season five premiere, held in Los Angeles on Thursday, November 6, 2025.

Interestingly, their reunion comes just few days after the 21-year-old actress filed complaint against the 50-year-old actor of filed a harassment and bullying before filming the fifth and final season of Stranger Things began in 2024.

Now, body expert Judi James analysed their "overkill" reunion, telling Daily Mail that both times there seems to be a mutual intent to show a playful style of cheery friendliness.

According to the expert, Brown appeared to make the first move in her interaction with Harbour.

James while analysing the duo’s red-carpet moments, noted that their body language lacked the typical telltale signs.

"Their torso proximity seems close and his hand around Millie's waist looks like a polite "gentleman's hand" gesture with the fingers held away rather than holding or squeezing," James explained, adding that the Enola Holmes actress' free hand on her leg showed “no obvious signs of tension”.

Judi James, in the end, described the reunion of Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour at the premiere show of Stranger Things season 5 as "overkill".
