Sydney Sweeney opens up about handling negativity following public argument with ex-fiancé

Sydney Sweeney recently opened up about staying positive and detaching herself from negativity following her highly publicised argument with ex-fiancé, Jonathan Davino.

In a conversation with Extra, the 28-year-old actress explained how she handles public scrutiny.

“You just know who you are. And the people who matter and are your friends and your family, they know who I am,” Sydney said.

She added, “And… to me, like, that's what’s most important. Everything else is just noise… none of it's real. And I’m just surrounded by really good people. And I love my job and I love my characters and I just stay focused.”

This comes after Sydney, who dated Jonathan from 2018 until their split earlier this year, was spotted in Santa Monica enjoying a private dinner with friends at Giorgio Baldi, looking “in great spirits” while watching the World Series game.

Moments later, she was seen getting into a car with her ex-fiancé. What began as a calm interaction reportedly turned heated when she yelled, “I don’t believe you. Please leave, leave me alone.”

It is worth noting that Sydney Sweeney has since been romantically linked to music producer Scooter Braun, with the two reportedly growing close after attending Jeff Bezos’ Venice wedding in June.
