Kate Middleton marks Festival of Remembrance 2025 with special nod to Prince William
Prince George joined his mother at this year’s celebrations in his father’s absence
Kate Middleton had to attend this year’s Festival of Remembrance without Prince William by her side — the Prince of Wales is off on an environmental trip to Brazil, where he marked the Earthshot Prize ceremony and delivered a high profile address at COP30.
However, the Princess of Wales’ thoughts were not far from her husband, as demonstrated through the Kensington Palace team’s social media activities.
The official Instagram page dedicated to William and Kate’s occupations shared footage from the royal family’s attendance at the Royal Albert Hall on November 8, where they observed the Festival of Remembrance 2025.
“A special evening at The Royal Albert Hall for this year’s Festival of Remembrance, honouring the service of, and the sacrifices made by the British and Commonwealth Armed Forces community,” the caption of a joint post between the Wales couple’s Instagram and the royal family’s revealed.
Though the detail which became of particular note was the new display picture of the Prince and Princess of Wales’ social media platform, now featuring a portrait of the couple from last year’s Festival of Remembrance, which they had attended together.
Prince George substituted for his father on Saturday evening, making his debut at the annual festival.
While Kate Middleton and Prince William are tending to separate engagements presently, it was previously reported that the future queen did not travel to Brazil with her husband as she has been administering their family’s move into their “forever home”, the Forest Lodge in Windsor Great Park, further taking care of their three children during the ongoing school term.
