Elon Musk’s Grok AI’s new update has everyone stunned
Elon Musk unveils a new Grok AI feature that lets users turn any photo into short video
Elon Musk is back in the spotlight after unveiling a new Grok AI feature that lets users instantly turn any photo into a short video.
The update has quickly gone viral as users experiment with the tool’s surprisingly creative outputs.
Announcing the feature, Musk wrote on his social platform X (formerly Twitter): “Long-press on any image to turn it into a video! Then customise the prompt to create whatever you can imagine.”
He even posted a humorous example of his own, jokingly adding, “add a boyfriend and they transition into muppets,” alongside a short Grok-generated clip demonstrating the feature in action.
The tool animates still images and applies user prompts to generate personalised short videos, from subtle motion effects to full character transformations.
Within hours, X users began flooding the platform with their own creations, ranging from cinematic edits to absurd meme-style animations, fueling another wave of buzz around Grok.
This feature comes shortly after xAI announced that Grok 4 is now available for free worldwide. Users can access it directly on X or through standalone apps for iOS and Android.
However, the free tier includes daily limits on the number of prompts, meaning heavy users still need a paid subscription for unlimited access, faster responses, and advanced creative tools.
