Sean “Diddy” Combs has caught a break behind bars as the Second Circuit Court of Appeals approved his request to fast-track his appeal, according to multiple media reports.

The hip-hop mogul’s legal team filed for an expedited process after his July conviction and four-year prison sentence for allegedly organizing controversial “freak-off” parties. His formal appeal is due next month, with arguments expected to begin in April 2025.

Sources told outlets that Diddy pushed for the faster timeline because, under normal proceedings, he might have completed most of his sentence before his appeal was even heard.

The update comes shortly after TMZ claimed the 55-year-old was caught consuming “homemade alcohol” while at Fort Dix federal prison in New Jersey.

Diddy’s legal team has not commented on the reports.
