Chappell Roan's shocking F-bomb during live television while inducting Cyndi Lauper into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame caught on camera.
It all started when the Pink Pony Club hitmaker , while introducing the American singer and songwriter to be inducted into the Hall of Fame this weekend.
During the speech, the 27-year-old singer, who apparently found herself struggling to read the teleprompter, began her speech, saying, “I think we can all agree that the best art comes from the most authentic people.”
The Good Luck, Babe! songstress went on to say, “When artists stay true to themselves, even when some people say they’re too much, too loud, too eccentric, or all of the above, that honesty becomes their greatest strength.”
Roan visibly squinted and struggled to read the words, then added, “I f---” and immediately covered her mouth while the audience chuckled and clapped in surprise.
To their response, the HOT TO GO! musician then admitted that she messed up so bad by refusing to get contacts. "Holy cow," she added in the end of her sentence.
Roan decided to continue her speech once the chatter among the audience died down as she said, “It’s that courage that not only creates incredible art, it gives everyone who experiences the permission to be themselves. It opens their hearts, it changes their mind, and that is its power."
Chappell Roan concluded her speech by inviting the legendary famous Girls Just Want to Have Fun hitmaker on stage, "Tonight, we honor a woman who redefined what a pop star could look like, sound like, sing like, and be. A music legend whose authenticity has inspired us for the last four decades with her four-octave range and the amazingly fabulous Cyndi Lauper.”
