Sofía Vergara opens up about finding peace and chasing Dune-level stardom
The Toty founder join hands with Skechers for a new campaign
Sofía Vergara is redefining her approach to style and her career goals.
The Toty founder has teamed up with Skechers for a new campaign inspired by her personal journey of recovery and comfort.
Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE, Vergara revealed that she fell in love with the brand after undergoing two knee surgeries, which forced her to rethink her footwear choices.
"I was going to have to be in tennis shoes for a long time and needed something that I could wear with my dresses and with my jeans," Vergara told PEOPLE.
"There's something about the memory foam inside the Skechers that is spectacular, and it's really good if you have to stay all day long in your tennis shoes.
Vergara admitted that comfort wasn’t always a priority. “I just wanted to wear things that made me feel sexy,” she said. “But now, I’m learning [that] you can have both style and comfort.”
The Modern Family alum also wants to star in blockbuster movies.
"I think I want to do movies, maybe a big movie like Dune or one of those really big blockbusters would be really fun. I've never done anything like that."
