Katy Perry recently opened up about her struggles and emotional turmoil amid her blossoming romance with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

On Sunday, November 9, the 40-year-old musician took to her Instagram account to share a heartfelt message.

In the post, Perry, who released a new single bandaids last week, recounted the vulnerable moments she has faced and extended love and hope to fans going through difficult times.

“thank you for the love on bandaids… tbh I struggled for months with the idea of putting this song out… even after all these years it can be scary to be vulnerable,” she wrote. (sic)

The Firework hitmaker added, “but hopefully the lyrics of this song resonate with someone going through what I have been through and maybe they won’t feel so alone and will find the strength to keep going like I have.” (sic)

Perry also shared a 12-slide carousel of behind-the-scenes photos from Bandaids, which was released on November 6, 2025.

Shortly after the post, fans flooded the comments section, praising the Harleys in Hawaii singer for showing courage and honesty.

“We love you and all the vulnerability,” one fan wrote.
