Sean "Diddy" Combs has reportedly joined a rehab program behind bars, where the rapper is currently serving a prison sentence.

For the unversed, the 55-year-old rapper is currently participating in a drug rehabilitation program at the Fort Dix prison complex in New Jersey.

Now, as per NBC, his participation in a drug rehabilitation centre could reduce his sentence by one year.

The founder of Bad Boy Entertainment, spokesman, Juda Engelmayer, in this regard, "Mr. Combs is an active participant in the Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP) and has taken his rehabilitation process seriously from the start."

Engelmayer went on to say, "He is fully engaged in his work, focused on growth, and committed to positive change."

"He works in the chapel library, where he describes the environment as warm, respectful, and rewarding."

However, even if his sentence is reduced with this move, Combs would still face five years of supervision, as well as drug testing and mental health meetings prescribed under his sentence, which he’s appealing.

Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is facing imprisonment after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, is expected to be released in May 2028.
