At the National Memorial Arboretum, Princess Kate came under spotlight as she led the nation in honouring its fallen heroes on Remembrance Day.

It marks the 43-year-old Princess of Wales’ first appearance at the annual service held at the Armed Forces Memorial.

She stood alongside veterans, service members and families in solemn two minute silence at sharp 11 am. After which she laid a wreath in remembrance of those who sacrificed their lives in service to the country.

Recognised as the heart of nation’s Armistice Day commemorations, the service at the Arboretum brings together past and present members of the Armed forces, along with their families.

The Princess’s participation serves as a reflection on her deep commitment to military communities and her personal dedication to honouring the hard work, courage and sacrifices of the armed forces.

The ceremony also featured a specially commissioned poem titled A Sonnet For Us All which was read to the audience.

After the heartfelt the service, Kate will reportedly stop by Memorial Wall to greet Squadron Leader Beth Long and her two daughters.

She will engage with the family, offering her support and recognising the lasting impact of loss on service households and the vital role remembrance continues to play in their lives.
